I have nearly 21 years’ rehabilitation experience working in different settings to support people. This has included the rehabilitation of offenders, and working with people with mental health issues to overcome vocational barriers. This covers eight years in managing offenders within the prison service, and facilitating on cognitive behavioural therapy programmes. Also, nearly 12 years assessing individual vocational needs, and supporting individuals back into the work place. I qualified as a Certified Disability Management Professional in May 2013 and continue to support individuals struggling in the workplace.
